Inside Lifeline

Platforms. We service and program the platforms Maritime plants actually run: Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Omron, Phoenix Contact and Unitronics, over EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET.

Built and tested in our shop

Lifeline is dispatched from the same Dieppe building that holds the panel shop, so a service call that ends in a dead or damaged panel does not wait on an outside supplier. Replacement panels and repair assemblies are built and tested on the bench before they leave, under Bedford QPS certification. That certification covers the panel work, and it matters on a service call because what we install on your floor comes out of that shop.

We stay with you

One team you can count on

Our team works all across the Maritimes. One team. One number. We show up.

Some fixes are fast. Some take more time. Either way, we stay on the job until it is done.

Straight answers

Common questions

Do you cover Nova Scotia and PEI, or only New Brunswick?Service vehicles run across all three Maritime provinces: Halifax, Moncton, Saint John, Truro, Amherst, Charlottetown and the plants in between. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are the whole service area, and nothing is promised outside it.
Is a maintenance contract worth it if we only call once or twice a year?Planned maintenance is priced against the downtime it prevents, so the honest test is what one lost shift costs your line. A plant that can absorb a day of downtime often stays on call-out. A plant that cannot usually wants the written response time a contract carries.
Can I call if we have never used Bedford before?Yes. The line at 1-833-423-3367 takes calls from plants with no history with us, and someone available answers. Contract holders sit at the front of the queue, but a first-time caller gets the same diagnosis, and if we cannot help we say so on the call.
Where do you get parts for obsolete PLCs and drives?Parts sourcing and obsolescence planning are part of the service. We track down processors, drives, power supplies and I/O modules that vendors no longer sell. When a like-for-like part is gone, we price a migration to a supported platform rather than buying the same time twice.
Can one company handle the electrical, the panel and the PLC on the same call?Yes, that is the point of one team. A stoppage that turns out to be a loose termination, a faulted routine and a cooked power supply produces one plan from one company. Red Seal industrial electricians do the electrical work, and there is a B.Eng on staff.
